Its been four weeks since we made it to the west. Dad and my brother, had finished the soddie a few days ago. It looks great and we were able to furnish the house with the amount of furniture we could bring on our journey. The first week was stressful, especially because we had to start building the house and start growing crops and feeding our animals. Dad had brought $10, which was used to make the soddie. It is very awkward for me, because I have no friends to hangout with. And mom would school my brother and I in the afternoon. In the morning we would get a bunch firewood, so mom could cook. I do like where our house is located.From the farm to the town is a 10 minute walk. My favorite place in the town is the ice cream parlor. My favorite is Vanilla. Dad and my brother go the slaughter to sell the cattle. I went once but it smelled terrible and wayyyy to much blood. Mom and dad say as soon the moon shows, we are to go to bed and as the sun shows we wake up. I feel we do the same thing every time for these 4 weeks, but what can i do. Well i have to go, mom wants me to go to town with her. Well bye.
